Surfboards
Inspired by living in Ocean City, NJ in 2011, Michele created her first mosaic surfboard titled "Peace Love Surf." Although technically not a surfer herself, she loves to boogie board and can relate to the feeling of becoming one with the wave and its incredible power. As well as being a cool symbol of the union between man and ocean, the surfboard is an amazing mosaic surface.
It's lightweight for its size and readily available when damaged to be saved from a landfill. The shape itself feeds the imagination with its elongated vesica piscis curves. At first created with ocean themes of sun and waves, later moving to more visionary designs. Is there another board in the works? Always one waiting in the wings... custom orders welcome!
